International Board
Vera Olson, is a Fellow of the International Board of Hypnotherapy, “in Service of Humanity”- which has the highest requirements and standards of any hypnosis or hypnotherapy certifying organization. This means that she has completed 600 hours of training, passed a board exam and demonstrated competency in practice prior to being awarded certification. Vera is required to complete continuing education units annually to maintain her certification, and has constant access to consultation with other experienced hypnotherapists and physicians certified by IBH.
Vera is a certified Medical Support, Clinical Hypnotherapist.
Passion
Vera’s passion in life is to motivate and give encouragement — to assist you to live the best YOU possible. Many years ago, hypnosis helped her to overcome her challenges. She was truly amazed at the power of her own mind. Vera can assist you, in getting in touch with your own inner power. You too will be amazed at what you are capable of. Life is so grand, live it the best that you can.
She believes strongly that Hypnosis is a powerful tool, and that anyone with the desire, can use this tool to maximize his or her quality of life. We all have self-imposed shortcomings, with the guidance of a great Hypnotherapist, you can over come them. Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy will allow you to reach your God-given potential. It is Vera’s privilege to help people who are committed to improving their lives. Through hypnotherapy, Vera guide’s her clients to access their inner wisdom in order to improve the quality of their lives. Hypnotherapy is transformative and creates positive and lasting change.
Hypnosis is all about words, using positive words to reinforce the positive actions we desire.
Family
Vera has been married to her husband, Ed, since 1980. They have three lovely daughters, a son in law and 1 grandson and 1 grand daughter. In 1989 Vera and Ed started Pacific Garages Inc. . Owning their own company enabled them to have family as their first priority, if there was a ballet recital, soccer, volleyball or basketball game, they had the power to turn off the lights and head out the door. Vera consciously raised her daughters with positive thoughts, and experiences. They had many travels and adventures to broaden their daughters’ experiences. She is proud that each has become a uniquely confident and competent woman.
Besides spending time with her family, Vera enjoys exercising at The Bar Method. Vera recently took up playing the American Native Flute. Also, the Arts of all kinds spark her creative spirit. From theatre, to dance, to music, to painting all enrich our lives.
Vera is number 8 of 12 children, raised in Everett, WA. Coming from a family of that size, it is no surprise that she has had a lifetime interest in “Mind over Matter” studies. She has found that hypnotherapy fulfills her passion to help others. She graduated from Marysville-Pilchuck High School, Brooks College, Long Beach, CA., and Hypnotherapy Academy of America, Santa Fe, NM.
